International 5488 1981-1985 14"x17"

International Harvester introduced the 50 Series in 1981. These tractors had a radical new styling unlike any other tractor on the market. The sleek styling was also more functional with the IH exclusive Forward Air Flow design which kept the engine compartment and operator cab cooler by forcing air out through the front grill. The 5488 was rated at 185 PTO hp. and was the largest row-crop tractor ever built by IH. IH sold the 5488 with an unprecedented 3-year, 2,500-hour extended warrantee which set a new standard in the farm industry. (Click on the picture for more information and to order). Price of $69. Farmall Model 1468 1971-1974 (14"x17")

In 1971, IH introduced the Model 1468 along with the 66 Series. It was built on the Model 1466 heavy-duty frame, but featured a DV-550 V-8 diesel engine from the IH truck division. This was the first IH farm tractor with a V-8 engine. A unique feature was a system that injected fuel into only four cylinders under light loads and all eight under heavy loads. The 1468 offered a bold new look with the duel exhaust stacks, giving it a hot rod appearance. ( Click on picture for more information and larger view). Price of $69. Includes Framing.

Farmall Model 1066 1971-1976 (14"x17")

The Model 1066 was introduced in 1971. It featured a new diesel engine with a wider hood and redesigned front grille. The standard transmission was available with the optional "shift on the go" TA, which offered 16 forward and 8 reverse speeds. Infinite speed control was available with the IH hydrostatic-drive models. This was a very popular tractor with almost 55,000 being sold before being replaced with the 86 Series in 1976. Farmall Model 826 1969-1971 (14"x17")

The International Farmall Model 826 was introduced in 1969. It was rated at 84 PTO hp and had the hydraulic power to handle the large implements needed for larger farms. In 1970 IH announced the Golden Demonstrator Tractor Program. The 826 was chosen to be part of the program and featured gold painted hood and fenders. Farmall Model 806 1963-1967 (14x17)

International Harvester introduced the 806 in 1963. This new tractor design featured a heavy-duty transmission with an optional Torque-Amplifier which offered 16 forward and 8 reverse speeds. The 806 used a C-301 six-cylinder engine for the gasoline and LPG-powered tractors. The diesel version featured the new D-361 six-cylinder direct start diesel engine which produced over 94 PTO horse power. Kenzie Meets The Cows F1206 (14"x17")

International Harvester introduced the Farmall 1206 in August of 1965. It featured a new heavy-duty power train and 361 cubic inch, turbocharged, six-cylinder, diesel engine. Farmall 1206 (14"x17")

Farmall Super M-TA 1954 (14x17)

In 1954, International Harvester introduced the Super M-TA. The exclusive "Torque Amplifier" provided an on-demand power downshift which gave the Super M-TA ten forward and two reverse speeds. The "TA" offered increased lugging power to get through the tough spots without down-shifting the main transmission. The Torque Amplifier was a Harvester innovation and a first in the farm industry.
