On April 20, 2009, my wife and I lost a very good friend. His name was Captain Kodiak, but all his friends called him "Kody". He was a beautiful 96 pound Chocolate Lab and for 14 years he was with us wherever we went. It was Kody who turned us into "dog people". Realizing how hard it was to say good-by to Kody, I knew I would be creating a new line of dog art for "dog people" everywhere.
