Farmall Model Super M-TA The Farmall Super M-TA was introduced in 1954 and soon proved to be the ideal tractor for American farmers. It featured the IH exclusive "Torque Amplifier" which provided an on-demand power downshift giving the Super M-TA ten forward and two reverse speeds. The "TA" offered increased lugging power to get through the tough spots without down-shifting the main transmission. The Torque Amplifier was an IH innovation and a first in the farm industry. Farmall Model 806 1963-1967 The Farmall 806 was an all new tractor design featuring a big six-cylinder diesel engine which produced over 94 PTO hp. and a heavy -duty transmission with an optional Torque-Amplifier giving the 806 16 forward and 8 reverse speeds. The all new hydraulic system, hydrostatic power steering and self-adjusting hydraulic power brakes made this big tractor easy to handle. The American farmer loved it.
