The Chocolate Lab

The Chocolate Lab is a hunting breed,

and likes to hunt all day.

For ducks and geese he will retrieve,

and pheasants flush your way.

An ideal sport and family dog,

the Lab is a gentle friend.

He wants to please and trains with ease,

for whatever help that he may lend.

Chosen often to lead the blind,

and search and rescue teams.

He’s brave and kind and big of heart,

a dog of someone’s dreams.

But in our family we don’t care,

he chases balls and loves to play.

He protects us all throughout the night,

and wakes us in the morning, for another loving day.
