The Pilot's Dream
I leave my earthly bonds behind, as the air begins my lift. I hear the engine roaring, and thank the Lord, for this great gift.
I fly into the world beyond, with white-laced clouds in sky of blue. And chase the wayward winds, with mind and soul renewed.
It feels so great to celebrate, where only eagles dare to soar. The topping of His windy heights, this silent dream is mine once more.
For as I glide on air-filled wings, I shed the burdens of my mind. And thank the Maker for this place, the peaceful heavens for mankind.
