Massey Ferguson Model MF35 1960-1964 (14"x17")

Massey-Harris and Ferguson merged in the fall of 1953 to create the first world-wide agricultural manufacturing company. The blending of the two companies became apparent with the development of the Massey Ferguson 35 and 65 tractors. The MF 35 evolved from the Ferguson TO-35 manufactured in North America. Introduced in 1954, the TO-35 had the distinctive Ferguson styling and offered all of the advantages of the famous Ferguson System. In 1959, the Ferguson TO-35 received new red sheet metal and became the Massey Ferguson MF35. The new MF35 featured a six speed transmission and a 33 hp.,134 cubic inch, four cylinder, gas engine. It was also available with the popular 37 hp. Perkins diesel engine. The 35 offered a live PTO with two-stage clutch which allowed the PTO to run continuously when the tractor was not moving. This little tractor also featured the Ferguson three-point hitch which was soon to become the standard in the farming industry.
