Case Model DC 1939-1953 (14"x17")

The J.I. Case Company introduced the D Series in 1939. It offered all new styling and sported a bright, new, Flambeau Red paint. This was the beginning of the Flambeau Series of Case tractors - the best-selling tractors in Case history. During the Flambeau Red era, Case firmly established itself as one of the top three tractor manufacturers along with International Harvester and John Deere. The Model DC was rated to pull a 3 or 4 bottom plow. Standard features included: adjustable rear tread, power takeoff, Motor-Lift, and independent assisting brakes. Electric starter, lights, muffler, rubber tires, and wheel weights were all options. Case made many improvements to the D Series during its 15 year production run, which ended in 1953, with over 100,000 units being built.
