Ford Model 8N 1947-1952 (14"x17")

In July 1947, the first new 8N Ford rolled off the assembly line. A classic engineering masterpiece, the 8N had a distinctive, bright red, cast iron body with contrasting light gray sheet metal. It was soon fondly referred to as the "Red Belly", one of the most useful and popular tractors produced for the American farmer in the early 50's. The 8N offered extreme versatility, with over 400 implements available to do almost any job on the farm. The Ford also featured the unique Draft Control three-point hitch which proved to work perfectly with the two-bottom plow. As a statement to its popularity, by the end of production in December 1952, over 524,000 8N units were produced.
