Allis-Chalmers began production of the Model B in 1937. Only 96 tractors were produced that year, but it was the beginning of a long and successful 20 year production run. The Model B featured a reliable four-cylinder engine with about two-thirds the power of the WC. Allis-Chalmers offered a complete line of mounted implements, planters, mowers and even a power-matched Model 40 All Crop Harvester for this little one-row tractor. The Model B owner could now be as fully-equipped and independent as the larger farm operator. It was this great versatility that enabled the Model B to gain immediate and lasting acceptance by thousands of farmers all across America. There was over 104,000 Model B's produced from 1937 to the end of production in 1957. You can still see this little tractor being used today for mowing and other farm yard chores.
