Farmall Model M 1939-1952 (14"x17")

The Farmall Model M was introduced in August of 1939. It was one of the best-known and loved tractors ever produced by International Harvester. The Farmall M soon became a dominant factor in the farming industry. This reign of dominance lasted until it was replaced by the Super M in 1952. During this period, Harvester built almost 300,000 Model M's. The M was the largest, most powerful tractor in the Farmall line. It featured a big 247.7 ci, four-cylinder engine and could easily handle three 16 inch plow bottoms. Opitions included: Lift-All hydraulic system, PTO, electric starter and lights, belt pulley and rubber tires. In 1941, a diesel powered model MD was added to the line which offered increased power and fuel economy. The Model M was so popular, you can still find many in use on farms today.
