The International Harvester Company began manufacturing the Farmall F-12 in 1932. Only 25 were built that first year, but after that, production mushroomed into a total of 123,407 units. Production of the F-12 ended in 1938 when it was replaced by the more powerful F-14. The F-12 was a versatile tractor with adjustable rear tread and could pull a two-bottom plow. This little tractor was easy to handle and ideal for lighter farm chores like cultivating. When it came to economy the F-12 had few equals. On average loads it only used about 2 quarts of gasoline per hour. The F-12 was a very popular tractor with Farmall lovers and was used on both small and large farms across the country.
