Farmall Cub 1947-1964 (14"x17")

In 1947, International Harvester responded to the need for a small, less-expensive tractor, with the introduction of the Farmall Cub. Powered by a 59.5 cubic-inch, four-cylinder, side-valve, engine and three-speed transmission, it could pull a 12 inch one-bottom plow. The Cub featured an off-set design called "Culti-Vision". The driver's seat was positioned to the right of the engine for better visibility. This tractor was equipped with magneto ignition, but electric starter and lights were available. Many implements were custom built for the Cub and optional equipment included a rear PTO and Touch-Control hydraulics. Additional implements were added, as the Cub found more and more uses. In 1958 the "Farmall title was changed to International Cub. This little tractor was very popular with nursery operators, landscapers, vegetable growers and small acreage farmers.
